Larry holds a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Clark University, a Master’s in Consulting Psychology from Harvard University and is a graduate of the MindShare CEO program.. He began his career at Lotus Development, a pioneer in the business application software industry. After a series of key business and technical roles, he was promoted to General Manager of Lotus 1-2-3 and Lotus’ Desktop Applications. After IBM acquired Lotus, Larry served as General Manager of IBM’s Internet Applications Division. He also served as Vice President of Products at Manugistics, a leading Supply Chain Management software vendor.
Shifting his focus to startup companies, Larry served in CEO, COO or other senior executive positions for a number of pioneering and successful software startup companies, including Riverbed Technologies, Approva, CorasWorks, CivicUS, Sonatype, Trigon Health and Lumeon. He also serves as a mentor and business consultant to entrepreneurs and startup companies, helping them to identify business opportunities; to develop and refine business plans; to perform competitive analyses and build investor presentations; to raise capital; and to implement launch plans.
